Demagogue

Last week, I mentioned that Pakistan's handling of an "honor" rape case (now there's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one) was just wee bit inconsistent with our professed desire to bring women's rights to the neighborhood. I wouldn't want to leave anyone with the wrong impression, however; the day after my post, the convicted rapists were re-arrested, on no apparent legal authority.

The victim "wants her attackers to be hanged near her village." For sentimental reasons, presumably.
