Do they have researchers at CNN? Do they know how to use google?

CNN has been repeating the following teaser line all morning, "Taking anti-war protests to a whole new level-- protesting the funerals of American soldiers."

ARGHGHGHGHGHGH.

These are not garden-variety "anti-war protests," for pete's sake. These are the deranged anti-gay protests held by the notorious Fred "God Hates Fags" Phelps family. They've been protesting funerals for nearly 10 years-- they first gained national notoriety protesting at Matthew Shepherd's funeral and the trial of his killers in 1998/99. They've merely changed their venue to the funerals of soldiers for media attention. But why bother explaining any of this when you can give the public the false impression that anti-war movement folks are protesting soldier's funerals?
