Demagogue

I just heard a soundbite on NPR of President Bush explaining that as he prepares to attend the G8 Summit, he fully recognized that he is not a popular fellow in Europe, but that "in my heart of hearts," he knows his policies have been correct.

Bush is quite fond of telling us about his "heart of hearts" -- for example, in this instance and this instance. If only our humble president had a mind of minds to go along with his heart of hearts.
