So the Terri Schiavo autopsy is now public. Now all we have to know is when and where her ashes will be buried and she'll have lost every shred of privacy she ever had.

My last word on this sad subject (I hope) is this: If anyone forgets a few years from now (or in November 2006) how twisted and maccabre this GOP-fomented saga became, he need only reread the lede to the autopsy story.

In a victory for Michael Schiavo, a coroner who performed an autopsy on Terri Schiavo reported Wednesday that she suffered from an irreversible brain injury and would not have recovered as her parents insisted was possible.

That's just sad.
