Paradise on Earth

I can't imagine a survey in the U.S. coming up with results remotely approaching these:
A survey has indicated that 32 percent of Dutch people want to emigrate abroad and that just 51 percent are proud of the Netherlands....This was due to political developments, multiculturalism, over-population, criminality and socially distant people.
I suppose I should take some of the blame, having exacerbated overpopulation and also, perhaps, multiculturalism (though I don't think white Americans are what survey respondents had in mind when complaining about multiculturalism).

The survey also found that Dutch people have more strongly negative views about the Netherlands than they do about China. Their reasons for viewing China comparatively positively don't suggest a great depth of analysis.
Negative aspects of China were its high population density, the large size of the country and communism. Positive aspects were its economic future, Chinese food, the rich culture and history and the Chinese wall.
Yeah, the communism thing is a bit annoying, but have you ever seen the wall? And kung pao chicken? To die for!
