The story, according to the Albany Times Union, is this:
U.S. Rep. John Sweeney and his wife confirmed Wednesday that State Police were called to their home last December, but they dispute the full accuracy of an alleged police document leaked to several news organizations.
The couple declined to discuss any details about what triggered a 911 call to police and brought a state trooper to their door Dec. 2 for an undisclosed domestic disturbance. The document said Sweeney's wife said he was "knocking her around."
Both indicated the incident was brought on by stress.
