Republican partisans want the world to believe that Foleygate was planned and timed by Democratic strategists, but at least one Florida newspaper was getting its info from a GOP source. According to the new edition of Newsweek:

A St. Petersburg Times editor told Newsweek that the paper received the e-mails from a source in (Republican Rep. Rodney) Alexander's office.
