Demagogue

Yesterday I was walking in downtown Pittsburgh and turned a corner to find the whole sidewalk populated by a small army of Lynn Swann supporters in matching blue t-shirts, all were unloading from a Lynn Swann bus.

I couldn't help but snicker to myself-- to find any Lynn Swann supporters in Pittsburgh they have to bus them in from somewhere else. As it turns out he was debating Governor Rendell last night. It's a little surprising, it doesn't seem to matter that Swann is a former Steeler, Rendell has maintained a healthy lead over Swann in the polls, 54-37.
