Newt Gingrich is rumored to have presidential ambitions, and perhaps that explains why Newt is insisting he wouldn't know an Abramoff from a Romanoff. Courtesy of Kevin Drum, we learn that the former GOP House Speaker said he wouldn't have known Jack Abramoff "if he fell across him ..."

Drum cites this Abramoff quote as a good rejoinder:
"I have more pictures of [Newt] than I have of my wife."
