Now, there are new signs that Lamont will announce his candidacy -- Tom Swann of Connecticut Citizen Action Group just recently resigned to serve as Lamont's campaign manager.
By all appearances, this would be a long shot for Lamont, but the best chance for taking out Lieberman probably rests in the party primary. I must admit that I'm half-tempted to contribute to Lamont's campaign if he makes a run for it. (I'd first want to learn a little more about Lamont.) Lieberman was (is) bad on the war, bad on church-state separation, and not so good on a few other issues I care about.
