Bush: Stop DeLay Before His "Crimes Can Multiply"

Well, not exactly. But I must confess that for just a moment yesterday, during President Bush's speech to the National Endowment for Democracy, I thought Bush might be talking about his fellow Texan when the president declared:
"Evil men, obsessed with ambition and unburdened by conscience, must be taken very seriously -- and we must stop them before their crimes can multiply."
Of course, that statement describes bin Laden and Zarqawi. But I'd say that "obsessed with ambition and unburdened by conscience" is also an apt description of DeLay. And given the recent indictments returned by a Travis County, Tex. grand jury, that nebulous reference to "crimes" also applies to the Hammer.
