I've come to the conclusion that the Bush Administration is sort of run like the mob, they don't hire anyone who isn't "made" or can't be vouched for by other members of "the family." However, due to this mob mentality when a key player like Jackie-boy Abramoff gets pinched it can pose far-reaching problems for others in the family.

President Bush's pick for the second-ranking position at the Justice Department abruptly withdrew his nomination Friday after facing weeks of questions over his ties to the lobbyist Jack Abramoff as well as his role in formulating policies for the treatment of suspected terrorists.

Honestly, I can't keep track of all the hacks, the scandals (old and new) or the obscene cronyism anymore, there are just too many.
