Demagogue

I'm glad the Australian Parliament hasn't got more serious problems than this to deal with. I can attest to the egalitarian atmosphere in Canberra; on visits there, I quickly learned to sit in the front seat of taxis and chat with the drivers. It was harder to get used to Christmas decorations and Santas in the shops when it was more than 90 degrees fahrenheit.
