Stephen Bennett, Executive Director and Founder of SBM, Inc. lived as an openly "gay" man for 11 years - that is until he went "straight."Apparently, Bennett is upset by this Washington Post article chronicling one's man journey from "gay to ex-gay to ex-ex-gay."
Sexuality active with well over 100 male partners - many whom are dead today from AIDS - Bennett was also involved in a long term relationship with another man.
In 1992, he left it all for his wife today - Irene - of 12 years. The Bennett's are the proud parents of two little children - a boy and a girl.
Bennett no longer struggles with homosexuality whatsoever and is completely heterosexual - the way he was born.
I can just picture Bennett punching out this press release, blisfully daydreaming as he recalls being "sexuality active with well over 100 male partners" only to suddenly remember that he "no longer struggles with homosexuality." And just to make sure that everyone understands just how "not gay" he is, he made the extra effort to explain that not only does he "no longer struggle with homosexuality," he no longer struggles with homosexuality "whatsoever."
What a coincidence! I don't struggle with homosexuality whatsoever either and am completely heterosexual - just the way I was born.
Of course, I was never "sexuality active with well over 100 male partners," so that makes it easier.
