Hitchens's Post-9/11 Journey Continues

Christopher Hitchens was generally considered a liberal writer and commentator -- that is, until the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Since then, a more hawkish Hitchens has emerged. His words remain as lucid as ever even if Hitchen's premises are, at times, weak.

In this new column on Slate.com, Hitchens dares to do what President Bush cannot do -- say what he really thinks about a grieving mother by the name of Cindy Sheehan. It's an interesting read. Hitchens makes some arguments that are compelling, others that seem a little petty.
