One of my favorite Supreme Court Justices (and many others would agree with my choice) is
Robert Jackson. He said some
wonderfully inspiring and eloquent things, but during the hubbub over replacing O'Connor and the canonization or demonization of particular Justices and potential nominees, it's Jackson's
less inspiring but most famous statement that should be borne in mind.
