Yesterday, Nicholas Kristof published a
column entitled "Bush, a Friend of Africa" in which he heaped praise on Bush for a variety of things, at one point stating "But the fact is that Mr. Bush has done much more for Africa than Bill Clinton ever did."
I share Brad Plumer's
assement of just how meaningless such praise is
But Bush is better than Bill Clinton? Well, then give the man a ribbon, but that's setting the bar awfully low.
