Theocracy, Not Democracy

While many right-wingers give lip service to their love of democracy, D. James Kennedy doesn't.This is from a recent right-wing Evangelical conference, attended by many leaders and organizations that support Bush because he's one of them.
"As the vice-regents of God, we are to bring His truth and His will to bear on every sphere of our world and our society. We are to exercise godly dominion and influence over our neighborhoods, our schools, our government ... our entertainment media, our news media, our scientific endeavors - in short, over every aspect and institution of human society."
Clearly this it what they really mean when they talk about the need for "faith based" solutions-- right-wing Christian domination over everything. This isn't just rhetoric either, they have very concrete plans to do this, read more here.
