The U.S. Isn't the Only Country that's Occasionally *#&(&ed Up

Just in case anyone has the impression that I think the Netherlands is better than the U.S., let me dispel it right now. I am in some respects happy that I live here right now rather than back home, but frankly people and governments everywhere have their own pathologies. I've just exchanged the American set for the Dutch one.

Case in point: this story, which I would swear came from the Onion if I didn't know better.
