If you are an influential Washington DC organization - say, the Committee for Justice - that is seeking to enter the blog world - say, with your own "Daily Blog" - it behooves you to actually learn a little bit about the blog world.

So if you are providing a run-down of coverage pertaining to the fight over judicial nominations and you link to Kevin Drum's piece in the Washington Post on the filibuster, don't do it like this

Drum is a blogger and a very influential one. Since the good folks at CFJ are themselves trying to produce a blog, it might be in their interest to take a look around the blogsphere and learn these sorts of things.
