Nuking the Constitution

In an interview with the Washington Times, Bill Frist discusses his agenda for the current Congress - I found this particularly humorous
Q.: If you have to resort to the nuclear option -

A: Constitutional option. The nuclear option is what they did to me last year when they changed the precedent.
To you? What does filibustering judicial nominees have to do with you? If anything was done to anybody, it was done to President Bush (or even more accurately, to those 10 individuals who saw their nominations stalled.) It has nothing to do with you, jackass.

Oh, and stop trying to rename it the "constitutional option" - nobody is buying it.

And while we are on the subject, could you please stop saying things like?
Let's extend the good working relationships we have and vote against them if you want to but give us the opportunity to vote them up or down.
Or if you simply cannot refrain from automatically sputtering out this talking-point, could you at least bother to explain why filibustering 10 nominees is somehow worse than killing five times as many Clinton nominees through procedural inaction?

I would very much appreciate it.
